Asphalt shingles are most commonly used for residential homes in North America. They are made of a base material, either organic felt or glass-fiber felt, that provides support for the weather-resistant components and gives the shingle its strength; asphalt and fillers; and granule surfacing material, that provides protection from impact and UV degradation.

Metal roofs offer good resistance to the Canadian climate. Made of steel, copper, zinc or aluminum, they are adapted to any type of sloped roof. They provide a great investment that come in several attractive colours and styles. Under normal use and with a minimum of maintenance, they will last longer then the average roofing product. Some metal roofs may include custom cupolas, standing seam, copper roofing, wall cladding, and custom flashing for parapets and scuppers.
